Description

The Laketroller downrigger Scotty 1071 is a compact, manual depth-control system designed for precise trolling on lakes, rivers, and coastal waters. It features a fully portable engineering-grade nylon clamp that mounts easily to a gunnel or transom with a 2″ opening, making it ideal for inflatable boats, aluminum craft, or canoes. The smooth one-foot-per-turn spool provides accurate depth control, while the adjustable drag brake allows fine-tuned tension for consistent lure presentation. Manufactured from stainless steel and reinforced nylon, this lightweight downrigger is corrosion-resistant and recommended for use with weights up to 4 lbs. Durable, portable, and simple to operate, it’s the perfect tool for anglers who demand reliability on every outing.
