Description
Argo-Yukon is a class of lightweight, high-performance kaboats that combine the sleek agility of a kayak with the load-bearing capacity and versatility of a boat. Designed for anglers, explorers, and outdoor enthusiasts, the Yukon series brings dependable engineering, compact portability, and outstanding capability to waterways large and small.
High-performance construction & safety
- The inflatable tubes are crafted from Carbon-style PVC with a density of 1100 g/m², offering an excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and abrasion resistance.
- The hull is divided into three independent air chambers, each with its own inflation valve, and includes a single overpressure relief valve for added safety.
- A large 38 cm tube diameter provides outstanding buoyancy, stability, and load capacity, ensuring a safe and confident ride even in choppy conditions.
- All main seams are heat-welded, maximizing airtightness and structural strength under pressure and across temperature variations.
- Protective rub-strake guard strips run along both sides, shielding the tubes from abrasion, impacts, and general wear during docking or contact with obstacles.
- The removable high-pressure AirDeck floor, when inflated, becomes rigid and stable — providing a solid deck surface that enhances handling, planing, and weight distribution.
Hydrodynamics, rigidity & control
- Thanks to its narrow hull profile and hydrodynamic shaping, Argo-Yukon requires less thrust to move, making it exceptionally efficient when paired with small gasoline or electric motors.
- The streamlined design ensures smooth transitions to planing mode, improved tracking, and responsive steering.
- Equipped with four rigid directional skegs, the Yukon maintains excellent stability and minimizes drift in crosswinds or strong currents.
- Inside, adjustable aluminum bench seats provide flexible positioning and comfort during long trips or fishing sessions.
Portability, deployment & versatility
- Yukon models can be inflated in under 15 minutes, and when deflated, fold neatly into a compact, medium-sized carry bag — ideal for convenient transport and storage.
- Lightweight yet strong, these KaBoats are easy to carry into remote locations, pull over sandbars, or load onto a vehicle roof rack.
- The design offers full flexibility: paddle, row, or power — a true hybrid vessel. Its efficient hull and lightweight build make it perfectly suited for quiet electric motors, delivering silent operation ideal for fishing or wildlife exploration.
- For professional anglers, Argo-Yukon can be custom-equipped with glued-in Scotty (Canada) bases, enabling the installation of a wide range of accessories: rod holders, cup holders, fishfinders, chartplotters, downriggers, cameras, and more — every tool has its place.
All Argo-Yukon inflatable kaboats are backed by a 3-year warranty.
