Solar generator 100W
Solar generator 100W
The solar generator is designed to recharge boat batteries and is a folding structure of two solar panels. Each of panels is glued to a sheet of marine plywood measuring 1055x305x9 mm. The result is a rigid and durable structure that can be installed on a bench or the boards of inflatable or a rigid boat.

As an energy source, we use semi-rigid monocrystal photovoltaic panels SG-TF-S-50W with SUNPOWER elements, the efficiency and durability of which are significantly superior to conventional elements. These panels are made of modern composite materials, they are waterproof, have high resistance to impacts and ultraviolet radiation. Thanks to the built-in SUNPOWER photocells, light radiation is effectively converted into electrical energy. The panels are connected to the battery via an MPPT charge controller.
The solar generator recharges the batteries continuously, with varying efficiency depending on weather conditions, boat position, etc. The charger works best when the panels are fully facing the sun, and loses some of its efficiency if they are angled or if even a small part of them is covered. Therefore, keep the device clean, dry and facing the sun as much as possible. In summer, during daylight hours, the solar charging system significantly increases the battery capacity, and therefore the autonomy of navigation.
Optionally, you can increase the power of the solar charger by connecting in parallel an additional 100W generators (purchased separately). To do this, you need to use a connecting cable (purchased separately). It is possible to increase the generator power up to 300W (connecting up to three 100W generators).
To connect a solar generator to a boat battery, it is necessary to additionally use the MPPT 2420P charge controller for 12/24V batteries and MPPT BM-3072 for 48V batteries (purchased separately). We offer our devices for charging Gel, AGM and Li batteries, with a 12V, 24V and 48V voltage.
